Baker St London
The thick stone and brick composite walls are the true structural walls that hold the wide span R.C floors. A special interface was developed that allowed the external load bearing walls to move independently and not be restrained by the floors. The stone and brick facades sit comfortably with their surroundings. The brickwork is much enhanced due to the respective tinting of the joints, which transformed the building.
